Thought you might enjoy a sampling of the (many) pictures I took yesterday with my friend Nuripa in her national dress. I'm not quite Kyrgyz yet, but getting there :-)
I stumbled upon your blog in my attempts to do research and learn more about Kyrgyztan (I'll be coming as a PCV in July).
The top 20 items list is insanely helpful as I prepare to pack for 2 years. I know you have about a million other things to do beside e-mail me, but if you have any other helpful tips/advice, they would be greatly appreciated. Also, did you bring your laptop with you??
